Rovers Ladies will be looking to climb further away from trouble when they take on Leeds United at Elland Road this weekend.
Gemma Donnelly’s side head into Sunday’s fixture full of confidence following impressive performances against Preston, Derby County and Sporting Club Albion in recent weeks.
Assistant manager Amanda Goodwin said: “We go into the game on the back of two good results, which have seen us pick up four points and move off the foot of the table.
“We welcome back Rio Hardy and Evie Manning from injury, so we have a full strength squad to choose from and Gemma will have some difficult decisions to make with regards to team selection.
“We are above Leeds in the table and have three games in hand on them, so there will be more pressure on them to get a result, especially playing at their home ground and in front of a big crowd. We are excited about playing at such a massive venue, but as the visitors, the pressure is on them.
“We are prepped and ready to go again. We will need to be professional and organised. We know what job needs to be done, we need to apply it on the pitch and hopefully we can come away with a positive outcome, but at this stage in the season, we would be happy to take any point.”
