Keep the away points coming

11 April 2014

Boss Gary Bowyer wants Rovers to continue their fine away form when they take on Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow.

Since early December Rovers have lost just twice in eleven outings on the road, picking up 17 points in the process.

With Rovers still in with a shout of a play-off place, they head to Hillsborough looking to pick up more points in their pursuit of a top-six place.

"It took a while for us to get our first away win of the season, but it has been pleasing the level of performances that we've shown away from home and the character and the spirit," said Bowyer.

"We've spoke all along about trying to get a settled team and we are now seeing that and the rewards from it.

"We've got five games left and we've just got to focus on our level of performances that we've shown in recent weeks and keep going with that.

"I said after the game on Tuesday when people started to get excited again that we could win all five and still stay in the position that we are in now.

"So we aren't getting carried away, we are just going to go out and be as professional as we can be."

Tickets for Saturday's match will go off sale at Ewood Park at 4pm this Friday. Advanced ticket prices are £27 Adults, £16 Seniors and £1 for Under-18s.

Tickets are on sale at Hillsborough on the day of the game but supporters should note that matchday prices rise to £28 Adults, £17 Seniors and Under-18s.
