Gary Bowyer's Rovers will come up against former graduate Junior Hoilett when they take on Queens Park Rangers at Ewood Park this evening.
Hoilett spent his formative years at the club's Academy, working under Bowyer, and the Rovers boss looking forward to seeing the Canadian once more.
"I've known Junior since he was 14 or 15 years of age," said the Rovers boss. "He is probably the same size then as he is now.
"He's a fantastic talent, he did ever so well here for us. The effort that he went through to play in our first team, he went to Belgium, he went to Germany twice, then he got his opportunity.
"I think that in the season that we went down he was the shining light with his performances and his goals and I hope the crowd give him a good reception because he deserves it."
Tickets for Tuesday's match are on open sale with prices from £15 Adults, £10 Seniors and £5 Juniors. Book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk and collect on the day of the game from the Blackburn End collection point.
