Boss Gary Bowyer has urged his players to ensure they do all they can in the remaining two games of the season.
As Rovers prepare to take on Charlton Athletic at The Valley tomorrow afternoon, the manager wants his side to take maximum points to make sure they are still in the hunt for a top-six finish come the final week of the season.
Easter Monday's 4-2 win over Birmingham City saw the gap to the play-off places reduced to three points meaning that if the teams above them do slip-up Rovers have to be in a position to take advantage by getting a win over the Addicks.
"All we can do is look after ourselves, I hear other managers in similar positions to ourselves say that same thing," said Bowyer.
"We have to make sure that if the ones above us in sixth spot mess up then we aren't being regretful and we are ready to make sure we have done our job properly and that is the most important thing for us.
"Charlton are fighting for their lives, they need the points still, so it is going to be a tough game, we know that.
"Our away form of late has been excellent, and the fact that we can go to places and score as many goals as what we have done is pleasing, so we need to reproduce that again."
