Boss expects Valley battle

25 April 2014

Gary Bowyer predicts another tough encounter at The Valley tomorrow when Rovers take on Charlton Athletic.

The game sees both sides needing the points for differing reasons, Rovers to maintain their top-six push, the Addicks to ensure they remain in the Championship.

"They've got points to get on the board to help them stay in the division," said the manager. "From experience last year you use that as a motivation.

"They seemed to have had a good couple of wins recently and none more-so than going to a difficult place like Hillsborough last week and winning there.

"So we know we'll be in for a game but we are up for the fight and be ready to match that."

Tickets for Saturday's match against Charlton are currently on open sale, priced £30.00 Adults, £22.00 Senior Citizens aged over 60, £22.00 Under 21’s, £10.00 Under 18’s and £5.00 Under 11’s.

Tickets will go off sale at Ewood this Friday at 4pm. After that tickets will be available from Charlton on the day of the game from the South Stand Ticket Office.
