Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has paid tribute to striker Jordan Rhodes after his brace against Brighton saw him reach a personal milestone.
Rhodes' two strikes on Tuesday evening saw the young hot-shot reach 50 goals in a Rovers shirt in just 89 appearances.
Rovers' record signing notched 28 times during his first season at the club, and has so far scored 22 this campaign, his brace against the Seagulls taking him to the 50-goal mark.
"It is a phenomenal achievement," said Bowyer of Rhodes.
"His first goal was an outstanding finish, it really was, and I don't think there is any doubt that he is scoring the penalty at all, he is so cool.
"To have got 50 goals in under two seasons is a phenomenal effort."
Rhodes and Rovers are back in action this Saturday when Ipswich Town are the visitors to Ewood Park. Tickets are currently on open sale priced from £15 Adults, £10 Seniors and £5 Juniors. Book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk.
