A chance to close the gap

1 April 2014

Gary Bowyer says Rovers have to go all out for the win when they play Brighton & Hove Albion this evening.

After a week on their travels, Rovers are back at Ewood Park when they take on fellow play-off chasing Brighton. Kick-off 7.45pm.

Rovers go into the match in good heart having shown tremendous fighting spirit in claiming draws against Watford and Millwall, but Bowyer knows that a win has to be the result tonight.

"The response from the players has been very pleasing and the performances have been pleasing," said the manager. "What we have to do now is make sure we keep up with the pleasing performances but make sure that we get the win.

"We are going all out for the win that is for sure, we've got to carry on with the form that we've shown over the last four games.

"We've proven that we can score goals, and the quality of our goals in the games have been ever so good, so we've just got to keep that going.

"It is important that we try and close the gap on the teams above us We are going into a period where we face teams that are above us in the next three games so it is a chance to claw the gap back.

"There is a lot to play for, there are eight games, loads of points still."

Tickets for this evening's match against Brighton will be on sale up until the 7.45pm kick-off. Tickets are priced from £15 Adults, £10 Seniors and £5 Juniors.
