Two good footballing teams

27 September 2013

Gary Bowyer is anticipating another tough away test when Rovers travel to AFC Bournemouth on Saturday.

The newly promoted Cherries have started life in the Sky Bet Championship in promising fashion, particularly at home where they have won three out of four at the Goldsands Stadium.

"They have settled in very well and have picked up some good points," said the Rovers boss.

"We've studied them on the videos and we know Eddie Howe from his Burnley days and how his team tried to play there.

"He got them promoted last year and they are a good footballing team so it will be a tough game for us.

"He's got his philosophy and he sticks to it regardless, so I expect it will be a good game of football between two good footballing teams.

"They are a good footballing side but every game is competitive and we expect no difference there.

"It is three good games for us ahead of yet another international break which is a little disrupting, but we just have to concentrate game by game."

Tickets for Saturday will be on sale at Ewood until 4pm. Tickets will be on sale on the day of the game, cash only from the turnstiles. Prices are £22 for Adults and £12 Concessions.

Rovers Player will be providing full match commentary from the Goldsands Stadium from 2.45pm.
