Jordan Rhodes took great delight in being the derby-day hero with his equalising goal six minutes from time.
Rovers' record signing didn't know too much about his fifth goal in three outings this campaign, but it made it all the more sweeter in the 1-1 draw with Burnley.
"How many times would that happen out of 10?" said Rhodes after Michael Duff's clearance rebounded off the striker.
"Fortunately it has found the back of the net and you know what? As a striker I'd rather score one of them than score a 30-yard volley that ends up in the top corner. They're sweeter, that's better.
"It happens and over the course of the season it evens itself out, maybe earlier on in the season we didn't get the luck with the odd penalty shout here and there, so hopefully that balances things up.
"To come away with the point in the context of the game is a good result."
Rovers have no time to rest on their laurels with a tough trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City
"We have a tough week ahead of us, we knew that," said Rhodes.
"Coming to Burnley, then going to Leicester and then Huddersfield, who have had a good start to the season, at home next Saturday.
"It's one game down, we'll forget about that now, the task will be to get switched on to Tuesday to prepare right and do the right things in order to try and get a good result again."
Supporters who are planning to watch Rovers take on Leicester City on Tuesday evening should allow extra travelling time.
Roadworks in Leicester city centre and in particular near the King Power Stadium has lead to heavy matchday delays so Rovers fans should set off in plenty of time to make the 7.45pm kick-off.
Tickets are still on sale for Tuesday's match with advance purchase tickets going off sale at Ewood on Monday.
Advance purchase prices are £28.00 Adults, £25.00 Senior Citizens aged over 65, £25.00 Under 22s, £18.00 Under 18s, £9.00 Under 12s and £7.00 Under 8s.
Tickets will be on sale on the day of the game from the King Power Stadium but supporters should note that prices will rise by £2 on matchday.
