Non-League Day, the campaign to promote semi-professional and grassroots football, returns for a fourth consecutive season this Saturday.
With Rovers not having a Championship game due to the international break, fans can get their football fix by visiting the likes of AFC Darwen, Chorley, Clitheroe, Colne or Ramsbottom United.
The newly-launched website (www.nonleagueday.co.uk/map.html) features a wealth of information on this year’s campaign, including a handy match finder.
Speaking of this year’s event, campaign manager Mike Bayly advised: “Whether you’re a Premier League or Championship fan without a game, a League One or League Two supporter who can’t make an away trip or just someone who is curious about what their local club has to offer, there is sure to be something to interest everyone.”
Many non-league clubs will be holding special events and price incentives on the day, including fundraising for local and national causes.
