Midfielder aims for maximum points

19 September 2013

Chris Taylor hoping Rovers make the most of home comforts when they face Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

Rovers have come through two tough away games this week with the draw at Burnley on Saturday and the narrow loss at Leicester City, but at Ewood Park the winger wants to return to winning ways.

"I thought we got a good point against Burnley and was hoping to pick up some points at Leicester but we were unfortunate that we didn't," said Taylor.

"We've now got to be looking to take maximum points against Huddersfield and use our home advantage on Saturday.

"Results are a mixed bag at the minute, we've had some very good performances, some okay ones and sometimes we haven't had the rub of the green, like the penalty decision on Tuesday night."

But whilst Rovers go into the Ewood match off the back of two impressive home displays, Taylor knows it won't be easy against the Terriers.

"Huddersfield will be a tough game definitely, they are a very good outfit," added the winger.

"They've got a lad up front who has got off to a flyer at the start of the season.

"So I expect a tough game, but I feel that if we impose our game and get on the ball a bit more, use our fans and our home advantage then I think we can get three points against them."

Tickets for Huddersfield are on open sale up until the 3pm kick-off, priced from £19 Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Juniors. Book online today at
