King in contention

10 September 2013

Josh King will be pushing for a starting spot for Norway tonight after his goalscoring cameo last time out.

The Rovers winger netted the second goal in the 2-0 win against Cyprus on Friday night - less than two minutes after coming on from the bench.

Norway host Switzerland in Oslo this evening in a top-of-the-table clash. The Swiss lead the way in Group E, four points ahead of Norway, with three World Cup qualifiers left to play.

Grant Hanley is expected to take his number of senior Scotland caps into double figures when Gordon Strachan's side face Macedonia in Skopje.

Scotland will be looking to bounce back from Friday's 2-0 defeat to Belgium and move off the foot of Group A.

Also looking for a win will be Corry Evans' Northern Ireland, who face Group F strugglers Luxembourg.

Evans came on for the final 20 minutes as Northern Ireland slipped to a dramatic 4-2 defeat to leaders Portugal last time out.
