Jake Kean is anticipating another tough test on their travels as Rovers take on AFC Bournemouth this Saturday.
Rovers take on the Cherries in a first league meeting between the two sides at the Goldsands Stadium for 24 years, and 'keeper Kean knows it won't be easy.
"Away days are tough regardless of whether they are an established championship team or they are newcomers," Kean told Rovers Player.
"I think that when a team like Bournemouth have someone like Blackburn Rovers come they are always going to try and do their best, we are still seen as a big scalp.
"Away from home we haven't yet had the rub of the green so hopefully that changes on Saturday."
Kean believes that there is more to come from Rovers, particularly as they are a side still getting used to each other.
"I think a lot of people have forgotten that we are a young side with an average age of something like 22," added Kean.
"If people give us the time and let us mature and bond together as a group then there is no telling what we can do.
"It is a great bunch of lads, including all the lads on the bench. Those who have come on have impressed and done well so it is a great squad."
Supporters who haven't yet purchased their tickets for Saturday's match can do so on the day, cash only from the turnstiles. Prices are £22 for Adults and £12 Concessions.
Rovers Player will be providing full match commentary from the Goldsands Stadium from 2.45pm.
