After back-to-back home wins David Dunn believes the feel-good factor is returning to Ewood Park.
Rovers followed up their 5-2 thumping of Barnsley with an equally impressive 4-1 defeat of Lancashire rivals Bolton Wanderers, and with a young side eager to impress Dunn can only see a bright future for the club.
"It was good after last week to go and score another good few goals," Dunn told Radio Rovers.
"It is doing the lads a world of good, everyone knows we are a young team so I think the confidence is getting better and better as the weeks go on, so hopefully we can carry it into the game in a couple of weeks now.
"I think we are playing some good stuff now, everyone seems to be enjoying it. Not just the players and the coaching staff but I think the fans are going home with smiles on their faces too.
"It has been a long time coming, but hopefully we've turned that corner now and we can push on and get the club to where it used to be."
The midfielder was delighted to get on the scoresheet himself, setting Rovers on their way with a stunning opening goal on Saturday, jinking his way past three defenders before cooly slotting home.
"I was just pleased to get on the scoresheet," added Dunn. "I was delighted to get the first of the season and hopefully there'll be a few more.
"I'm sure everyone is very pleased with how the last two games have gone."
