Dunny injury blow

11 September 2013

David Dunn is set for a short spell on the sidelines after undergoing a minor operation on his knee.

The 33-year-old, who scored a superb goal against Bolton Wanderers last time out, will now miss this weekend’s East Lancashire derby against Burnley.

Rovers boss Gary Bowyer confirmed the news, saying: “He aggravated the injury in training on Monday, we were fortunate to get him straight into hospital on Tuesday and his rehabilitation is now underway. We hope to welcome him back soon.”
