Gary Bowyer has once again hailed the displays of midfielder Tom Cairney.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form since his arrival from Hull City on a six-month loan deal.
In recent weeks Cairney has also shown his versatility by operating not only in the centre of the park, but behind the striker and also out wide as Rovers picked up wins over AFC Bournemouth and Watford.
"He's a very good footballer," said boss Bowyer. "He can handle the ball under pressure no problem at all.
"He can create chances for us, he can set goals up and we are delighted with the impact he has made on the team.
"He doesn't look like he has only just arrived he's fitted into the squad and looks like he's been here for a couple of years.
"We are delighted with him and appreciate Steve Bruce for allowing us to have him on loan."
See Cairney and Rovers in action this Sunday when they take on Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
Tickets are available from the ground priced at £20 Adults, £15 Seniors and 16-21 year-olds, and £10 for Under-16s.
