Gary Bowyer doesn't believe the absence of Paul Ince from the dugout this Saturday will have any bearing on the match.
The former Rovers boss is currently serving a five-match stadium ban from the FA following an incident at Bournemouth last month.
Blackpool showed little sign of missing their manager last time out as they defeated Wigan Athletic 1-0 at Bloomfield Road, and Bowyer a lack of Ince will have an adverse effect this weekend.
"I think Paul might like the idea of working from home full time if they win every week," said Bowyer.
"He's a top bloke and when he was here as manager I was the youth team coach and he was fantastic with me and he was very supportive last year when we played them down at Ewood.
"It will be strange not hearing him on the line shouting at people, it is a strange one for everyone involved, but I don't think the Blackpool side saw anything with their performance with him not being there.
"We've just got to go there and make sure that we compete and put on a performance for our fans."
