Tommy Spurr is sure Rovers will start being more clinical in front of goal to progress up the league table.
Leeds United are the visitors to Ewood Park this weekend and whilst Rovers have tightened up at the back in their previous five home games - conceding just the one goal - a lack of a cutting edge further forward has seen them miss out on a healthier points haul.
"We just have to be a bit more clinical in the last third and if we start to do that then we'll win games a lot more comfortably," the defender told Radio Rovers.
"We are at the stage now where we are getting a little bit frustrated because we know we are not far away.
"We keep saying that but we do need to start getting a run going.
"Hopefully with the clean sheet against Reading we can go into the next game against Leeds and beat them and be right on their tails as well."
