Rhodes injury latest

15 November 2013

Rovers have been handed an injury boost with the news that star striker Jordan Rhodes could be fit to face Reading next weekend.

The 23-year-old, who has 10 Championship goals to his name this season, withdrew from the Scotland squad in midweek after going over on his ankle in training.

Rhodes returned to Rovers’ Brockhall training base for treatment and scan results have revealed that the injury is not as bad as first feared.

He will now work closely with Rovers’ medical team in a bid to be ready for the Royals’ visit to Ewood Park on Saturday November 23rd.
