Passion and enthusiasm

8 November 2013

Gary Bowyer is delighted to welcome David Dunn back into the squad for Saturday's match against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Rovers stalwart has been out of action since his goalscoring display against Bolton Wanderers at the end of August with a troublesome knee injury.

After a full week of training Dunn could feature at the Amex Stadium at the weekend, with Bowyer pleased to add his experience and ability to the side.

"Dunny is unbelievable, his enthusiasm, his passion and his love for the game and for the club, no-one will beat that," said Bowyer.

"And on top of that he brings a wealth of experience and fantastic ability.

"Like I said previously, I don't think there were many people who could score the goal that he scored against Bolton.

"He's looked sharp in training all week, that enthusiasm and passion for the game just rubs off on everybody.

"It is important that we look after him and help him as much as we can, but what he does bring is a massive amount that I'm not so sure that there are many players up and down the country can bring to us."

Tickets for Saturday's match go off sale at Ewood Park at 4pm today. Supporters should note that there are NO tickets on sale on the day of the game.

Prices are £25 Adults, £20 Seniors, £10 Under-18s and £5 Under-10s. Call the ticket office on 0871 222 1444 for further details.
