Gary Bowyer was full of praise for goalkeeper Jake Kean after another home clean sheet.
The Rovers stopper made it four shutouts in five at Ewood Park with Saturday's goalless draw, something the manager felt was fully deserved.
"Full credit to him, he's come in for a little bit of stick from one or two people," Bowyer told Radio Rovers.
"The lads have stuck by him and got round him and I'm delighted for him that he's got a clean sheet.
"I thought the back four were excellent in terms of the defensive line that we held, I thought the two centre midfielders really did ever so well in the first half in picking up second balls."
Rovers are back in action at Ewood Park next weekend when Leeds United are the visitors.
