Boss Gary Bowyer wants to go into the international break off the back of a pleasing result against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Rovers went into October's break after their last-gasp defeat to Wigan Athletic and the manager doesn't want a repeat.
"We have an opportunity to try and pick up some more points on the road and make sure we enjoy the international break this time," said Bowyer.
"To go into the break last time wasn't the best circumstances.
"It was something that we certainly didn't want after the Wigan game, so we've just got to go to Brighton and try to get some points on the board again then we can go into the break in a positive frame of mind."
Rovers travel to the south coast full of confidence after their hard fought win over Middlesbrough last time out, with Bowyer reporting a spring in the step of the players this week in training.
"It is a simple ingredient to have a good atmosphere around the training ground and that is to have a win at the weekend," Bowyer told Rovers Player. "That has certainly been the case this week.
"It is incredible how quickly you have to focus on the next game and I'm delighted that the players have been like that as well.
"A lot of work goes into the win and as soon as that happened you start again.
"We know it is going to be a tough challenge for us going all the way to Brighton."
