GB: Up to us

22 November 2013

Gary Bowyer believes the next two home games will provide another tough test for his young side.

Rovers resume league action this Saturday when Reading are the vistors, followed by a home match against Leeds United.

"We have two tough home games coming up," said Bowyer.

"The Reading one is the first one so that is the one that we are concentrating on, it is going to be a different brand of football and I think it will be a good footballing game.

"It is up to us to go and match Reading and it will be a good test for us because they have come out of the Premier League.

"We've spoke about the tightness of the Championship, if we beat Reading on Saturday we can go within two points of them and they are currently sixth. So that shows you what the league is like.

"We are now entering a stage of the campaign where if we have a good run of results then we can find ourselves really getting close up the table. It is up to us."

Tickets for Saturday's game are currently on open sale priced from £19 Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Juniors. Book online today at and collect from the Blackburn End collection point ahead of the 3pm kick-off.
