Cut out the errors

22 November 2013

Gary Bowyer wants Rovers to take advantage of the two home games coming up by claiming a full compliment of points.

Rovers face Reading this Saturday before Leeds United are the visitors to Ewood Park the following weekend.

Bowyer's boys dominated on the south coast, creating more than a dozen decent goalscoring chances, but slack play at the back proved costly, and now the manager wants the team to put things right against Reading at Ewood Park.

"We've back-to-back home games and then after that we're entering a great period for us in a sense as there's no international breaks and there are six games in December," said the Rovers boss.

"It is a case of now focusing on football, cutting out the mistakes that we shot ourselves in the foot with at Brighton and picking up points.

"I'd be the first to put my hand up if we were outclassed by a team but I don't think we have this season. Nobody has come up against us and tore us apart.

"So when you look at our points tally and you look at the games that we've not won it has been down to our own individual errors in our opinion."

Tickets for Saturday's game are currently on open sale priced from £19 Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Juniors. Book online today at and collect from the Blackburn End collection point ahead of the 3pm kick-off.
