Josh Morris has today joined Carlisle United on loan until the new year.
The left-sided player, who can operate at either full back or further forward, has linked up with the League One side until January 4th 2014.
Academy graduate Morris ended last season as a regular for Rovers at left back, making ten appearances, but the arrival of Tommy Spurr over the summer has seen his first team opportunities limited.
Morris did play in the Capital One Cup clash against the Brunton Park club earlier this season, his only start for Rovers this term.
The 22-year-old, who has previously had loan spells with Yeovil Town and Rotherham United, will go straight into Graham Kavanagh's squad for their away game against Swindon Town this Saturday.
