Ewood Park plays host to the Rovers' Ladies on Thursday evening in their final game of the 2012-13 season.
Sporting Club Albion are the opponents at Ewood as Andy Ramskill's side look to make it six league wins in a row at the end of the campaign to consolidate a top two finish.
The opportunity to play on the hallowed turf was one that couldn't be passed up with Ramskill revealing that the players can't wait.
"The girls are buzzing and are really looking forward to it," said the Rovers coach. "Both for the fact that they are playing on Ewood, but also that they can finish second in the league.
"They are working really hard as a team, they have all come together. We are in great form and looking to finish the season on a high and take that second spot.
"The players have shown their qualities throughout their last five games, whilst we were unlucky to lose the Lancashire Challenge Cup on penalties.
"But it isn't going to be easy against Sporting Club Albion as they are a good side. They have just been knocked out of their cup competition so they'll be looking to get back to winning ways. We can't take them lightly."
It was honours even when the two sides met back in April, Beth Donoghue getting the Rovers goal in a 1-1 draw.
That was also the scoreline when Rovers' Ladies last played at Ewood when almost 500 fans saw Rovers draw 1-1 with Arsenal back in May 2010.
Kick-off at Ewood on Thursday is at 7.30pm, admission prices are just £3 Adults, £1 Concessions.
