Saturday's clash against Peterborough United will be just as difficult as Tuesday's Leicester City match believes boss Michael Appleton.
Rovers might come up against bottom club at Ewood Park on Saturday, but Michael Appleton has warned his side that they will pose as big a challenge as top-six Leicester did in midweek.
"Saturday's game against Peterborough at home is going to be just as difficult as it was the other night away at Leicester," said the Rovers boss.
"I think that was the biggest thing that the players have probably learnt over the last two away games. That it doesn't matter what it says on the team sheet, as soon as you cross that white line, as Leicester and Hull did, they got about is and made it very very difficult.
"My point to the players is that if you think Peterborough are going to turn up and give you respect, they won't.
"They'll come up here and they'll have a right go and they'll be thinking they can turn us over. They'll look at it and they'll think okay they've had a 3-0 defeat away at Leicester so they'll be licking their wounds a little bit.
"They'll look at the injury list and think that it is a good time to play Blackburn Rovers and that is when we, as a team, as a football club, have to say come on, bring it on, lets see what you've got.
"And in front of our home fans I can't think of anything better."
