Scott Dann is expecting another bruising encounter when Rovers face Millwall at Ewood Park on Wednesday night - kick-off 7.30pm.
The Rovers captain required seven stitches to a cut eye after a collision with Rob Hulse in the FA Cup quarter-final tie at the Den and he knows that the replay will be another tough match as the two sides battle for the right to face Wigan Athletic in the semi-finals at Wembley.
"I think it was a tough game physically, we didn't expect anything less," said the defender.
"We knew that was the way it was going to be down there. We knew we had to be up to the challenge.
"If you look at the game again we probably had a couple of chances each with them perhaps having the best chance of the game.
"It ended up being a 0-0 draw, we are still in the cup and now we have a home tie to look forward too."
Whilst Rovers had to work hard to earn themselves a replay, Dann believes that the match at Ewood gives them a chance to impose themselves now.
"We need to start the game in the right frame of mind," added Dann.
"Coming back to Ewood Park and having a home tie and having the home crowd behind us we'll be looking to influence the game with our own style of play. We didn't get the ball down and play it as much as we normally do.
"Hopefully that will be enough to get us through to the semi-final."
