Gary Bowyer knows that Rovers have to pick up points, and quickly, to move the club up the league table.
The caretaker boss takes charge of the team once more this Good Friday when Blackpool are the visitors to Ewood Park, with Bowyer's aim being to get the victory.
"We've got to make sure that the eleven that we pick go out and have a right good go against Blackpool," said Bowyer. "The fans see that, they get behind the team and we can hopefully get the three points.
"We are all just looking forward to the game. The players want to play and the game can't come quick enough for us.
"We've two games in four games so that gives us the opportunity to shift the focus back onto the real business which is football.
"Our main aim is to stay in this division so we need to get as many points on the board as quickly as we can starting with Blackpool.
"I think everybody involved with the club is disappointed with our league position, for the talent and the players that we've got in the squad, the main aim of the club this year was to push for automatic promotion and so everyone is disappointed with that.
"But we can't look at what we've done, we've got to look at what we are going to do.
"All we can do is concentrate on things game by game, if we can start collecting points then we'll take ourselves away from the threat of relegation."
