Four on World Cup alert

22 March 2013

Friday sees the World Cup qualifiers come to the fore with Rovers represented once more.

At Hampden Park, Jordan Rhodes and Grant Hanley will be hoping to be involved as Gordon Strachan's side take on Wales in their Group A clash between the bottom two teams.

Scotland sit bottom with two points from their opening four games, but they can leapfrog the Welsh with a three-point haul.

Joshua King's Norway take on Albania in Olso looking to close the gap on Switzerland at the top of their group.

The Rovers attacker will be looking to earn his fifth senior cap at the Ullevaal Stadium in the Group E match.

Tim Payne is with the New Zealand squad for their qualifier against New Caledonia in Dunedin.

The All Whites go into the game looking to maintain their 100% record in the competition so far with four wins from four.
