Scott Dann believes the Rovers faithful can play a huge part in the club's bid to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup with Budweiser.
The club captain felt that the Millwall supporters backed their side in Sunday's draw at the Den, and now as the two teams go head-to-head once more, Dann knows that it is imperative that Rovers receive the same support from the home fans.
"It always helps to have the crowd right behind you," said Dann.
"They got an extra kick out of their fans being right behind them on Sunday and we'll be hoping for the same on Wednesday from our fans.
"Hopefully they can give us that extra bit of help to push us on and get the right result.
"Obviously we would have liked to get through at the first time of asking, but we've got another chance so we can look forward to the game and hopefully get the result we are all after."
The defender also has an extra incentive to defeat Millwall this evening - to avenge last November's 2-0 loss at the hands of the Lions.
"We had a different management at the time and we've had a change since then, and although we've had that change we still owe them one for that result.
"Last time at Ewood they were the better team on the day, albeit we had a few good chances.
"So we'll be looking to put that right on Wednesday night."
Supporters are advised to get their tickets in advance of this evening's match as large queues are expected in the run-up to the 7.30pm kick-off.
Tickets are priced at £18 for Adults, £12 for Seniors/Students and £6 for Juniors under 16.
