After a whirlwind few days latest signing David Jones is looking forward to getting some games under his belt.
Jones trained with Wigan Athletic on Friday, signed for Rovers on loan until the end of the season on Saturday morning, before putting in a man-of-the-match display in Rovers' 3-2 loss to Peterborough United in the afternoon.
"It was a surreal couple of days with the deal being pushed through quite quickly, so I was delighted to get some game time," said Jones. "I'm just disappointed with the result.
"It was strange training with Wigan on Friday morning and then coming on for Blackburn on Saturday afternoon. You have to adjust quickly, you know this can happen in football.
"I feel privileged to be at the club and hopefully everyone will see that when I get on the pitch I give my all every game. I really want to enjoy my football.
"I always train right and prepare right so I was ready to be thrown in at the deep end."
The midfielder wants Rovers to quickly forget the disappointment of Saturday's defeat and sees tonight's match against Bolton Wanderers as a chance to make amends.
"I want to come to Blackburn and be in a winning team and see what we can achieve this season," added the 28-year-old.
"Against Peterborough it was really disappointing, I know getting the goal is a positive thing, but the result ensures you don't have a good Saturday night.
"The positive thing is that Tuesday comes round quickly and we'll be taking what we did well in the second half into the game.
"It is always good to get a goal and start positively with a performance. It is just the start of my spell here, that is all it is.
"It is nice to have a bit of rapport with the fans straight away, I want to get some game time and give the fans something to cheer about."
Tickets for this evening's match at Bolton will be on sale cash only from the away turnstiles from 7pm. Supporters should note that numbers are very limited. Prices are £15 for Adults, £5 for Seniors and Under-21s.
