Manager Gary Bowyer is still looking to strengthen his squad before the start of the 2013-14 season.
Rovers have already made seven summer signings, with Simon Eastwood, Alan Judge, Chris Taylor, Todd Kane, DJ Campbell, Matt Kilgallon and Alex Marrow all being brought in. David Dunn has also put pen-to-paper on a new one-year deal.
Bowyer would like to add a few more new faces in the coming weeks, but appealed for patience from the Rovers fans.
"I can assure the supporters that we are still active in the market, but we will only sign players who we believe will enhance the quality of the squad and fit in with the rest of the group," said the Rovers boss.
"We have a number of transfer targets in mind and are working hard to get them over the line.
"In the meantime, I would urge the fans not to get caught up in all the rumour and speculation that surrounds the summer window.
"It can be a frustrating time in the football calendar and it doesn't help when stories coming out of the local and national media are both misleading and factually incorrect.
"As always, we will go about our business privately and professionally, and when we have anything to announce, we will do so through the proper channels."
