Rovers' Under-18s found their goalscoring touch once more with a 5-1 win over the Nike Academy on Tuesday.
Following on from the 6-1 victory over Burton Albion in their first pre-season outing, David Lowe's side came from behind to score five at St. Georges Park.
Nike Academy started strongly and took the lead after just two minutes, but a goal from Dean Rittenberg and a Jordan Preston brace saw Rovers lead at the break.
Nike Academy started on the up at the resumption of play, Rovers goalkeeper Callum Williams tipping an effort onto the woodwork with a great save.
The young Rovers stuck to their task and added two further goals, Modou Cham and Devarn Green grabbing the goals to complete a pleasing day at the FA headquarters.
"We played some really good football," said coach David Lowe. "The lads played with a lot of enthusiasm and passion and always looked a threat going forward.
"They looked organised and played the game properly."
