Rovers' Under-18s continued their fine goalscoring form with a 4-0 win over a Liverpool County FA side on Saturday.
Following on from a 6-1 win over Burton Albion and a 5-1 win over Nike Academy, Rovers' youngster got amongst the goals once more at Brockhall.
The home side were given a scare early on as Liverpool struck the crossbar when the scores were goalless, but Rovers responded with two first half strikes from Hyuga Tanner and Luke Wall.
Two further goals from Jordan Preston and Wael Ailouche in the second half eventually made it a comfortable win.
"We started slowly and were lucky to be still at 0-0 as they hit the crossbar which served at a warning," said coach David Lowe.
"After that we played some good positive football, we managed 22 shots at goal of which 17 were on target.
"The main idea was to give the lads as much game time as possible to top up the fitness levels, so it was a pleasing performance from that point of view."
The Under-18s are back in action at Brockhall on Tuesday when they face Rochdale, kick-off 11.00am.
