Michael Appleton insists his side travel to Pride Park full of confidence after Tuesday night's draw with Brighton.
The manager says was pleased with the way Rovers performed against the Seagulls despite suffering the last-gasp heartache of conceding.
David Lopez's 97th minute penalty meant two points dropped but Appleton is focusing on the positives rather than dwelling on the disappointment ahead of the FA Cup tie with Derby County.
"I think the more important thing from my point of view is what went on for the previous 97 minutes which was very very good, very pleasing, very encouraging," said Appleton.
"It is something that hopefully we can continue over the coming weeks and months.
"There was far too many positives in the game for me to allow a player to be too disappointed with what happened.
"We talked about making sure that we stay positive, building on the stuff that we did ever so well in the game and hopefully recreating that time and time again.
"I want us to be in a position where every game from now until the end of the season, regardless of whether we can control the result or not, we can certainly control the performance."
Tickets for the Derby clash will be on sale at Ewood Park until 4pm Friday. They will be on sale on the day from 12pm on Saturday from the South Stand Away Ticket Office.
