One of Rovers' rising stars has been short-listed for an award by his country.
John O'Sullivan has been nominated for the Republic of Ireland's Under-19 International Player of the Year.
The Reserve-team midfielder, who was one of the stars of the Academy's run to the final of both the FA Youth Cup and Academy League last season, is one of three players short-listed for the award.
Dublin-born O'Sullivan, who has come through ranks at Rovers, captained the Irish Under-19 side last year and has gone on to make the step up to the Republic of Ireland's Under-21s.
For Rovers, O'Sullivan has recently linked up with the first team, earning his first squad number - 44.
The award ceremony will take place in Dublin on Sunday February 3rd.
