Jordan makes Millers move

31 January 2013

Rovers striker Jordan Slew has today joined Rotherham United on loan.

The former Sheffield United youngster has linked up with the League Two side on a month-long youth loan until March 5th.

Signed in the summer of 2011, the 20-year-old has found first team chances limited at Ewood Park so far, with just two substitute appearances to date.

A loan spell with Stevenage at the end last season was followed by a six-month deal to join Oldham Athletic at the beginning of the 2012-13 campaign, which was cut short by a back injury.

Slew proved his fitness when he returned to action with the Reserves at the turn of the year and will now look for further game time with the Yorkshire club.
