Work in progress

10 February 2013

Despite a third successive victory, Michael Appleton isn't getting carried away with recent results.

Rovers closed the gap on the teams above them with the 1-0 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday but the manager insists his side still has plenty to do.

"We are still a million miles away from where I want to be," the manager told Radio Rovers.

"Ultimately it is slow progress, work in progress and hopefully over time we can steadily improve.

"I'm not getting carried away, I love winning games, I love keeping clean sheets, we've got another important game coming up in a couple of day's time."
