Michael Appleton expects Rovers to bounce back from the disappointment of defeat on Tuesday night.

The Lancashire club suffered only their 2nd defeat in twelve outings when they were beaten 2-0 by Hull City at the KC Stadium, but with a home game against Leeds United next up the Rovers boss believes his side can quickly get back to winning ways.

"We get another opportunity with the home game coming up to get a good reaction from the players and I'm sure we will," said Appleton.

"There are going to be a few ups and downs between now and the end of the season and Tuesday was a down. We had a big up last Saturday and hopefully there'll be another up this Saturday as well.

"It is easy sometimes when you are winning and everything is going your way.

"I said that after the first game, you learn more about yourself, players, staff and even the fans when you have a defeat and some things don't go right for you.

"The onus is now on us to go up against Leeds on Saturday in a home game and go right at them.

"I'm sure the players will be trying their socks off to do that, it is a good game to bounce back against a Leeds side that wherever they go are always well supported.

"So I'm sure the atmosphere will be red hot on Saturday and hopefully we can be on the right end of a result."

Tickets for Saturday's game are on sale to those supporters with a database history of purchasing Rovers tickets. Priced from £19 for Adults, £12 Seniors and just £1 for Juniors.
