Michael Appleton has called on the Rovers fans to play their part when Leeds United visit Ewood Park on Saturday.
Club officials are expecting their largest attendance this season for the visit of Leeds, with the Rovers boss hoping that the players are backed throughout by a vociferous home support.
"Having sat there in the stands on Wednesday night at Elland Road their fans got right behind their team," said Appleton. "They knew that they needed a victory and it was a great atmosphere.
"So from our point of view, if we can get the crowd up to the 19-20,000 mark tomorrow I think it will give everyone at the football club a huge boost, the players included.
"If the fans do get behind the players I'm sure they'll respond to that and we'll get a good performance from them.
"I think the fans could be crucial in our remaining home games, hopefully they'll raise the roof, get behind the players and spur us to victory."
Tickets for Saturday's match are on sale to those supporters with a database history of purchasing Rovers tickets. Priced from £19 for Adults, £12 Seniors and just £1 for Juniors.
