Rovers Ladies will meet Blackpool Wren Rovers in a repeat of last season’s Lancashire Women's Challenge Cup final.
The game will take place at the LFA headquarters in Leyland on Thursday April 18th, kick-off 7pm.
Rovers booked their place in a 10th consecutive final courtesy of a 3-1 win away to Preston North End, while Blackpool beat Atherton Town 4-0.
Scott Rogers’ side came from behind to beat Blackpool 3-1 in last season’s showpiece. A Katie Anderton own goal had given the seasiders a surprise half-time lead, but second-half strikes from Nichol Forster, Danielle Sheen and Hannah Forster secured Rovers’ eighth county crown in nine years.
Manager Scott Rogers said: “We are delighted to be in the final again. Last year it was an extremely tough game and we are expecting a similar sort of test again.
“But my players are well aware of what the trophy means to them and the club and it’s important we don't underestimate Blackpool in this game.
“We will be well prepared, just like we do against any opposition in our league, and if we play anywhere near the level we know we can, then I'm hopeful of a positive result. I'm really looking forward to the night.”
