Away draw for Rovers

17 February 2013

Rovers have been drawn away to Millwall in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with Budweiser.

Following on from Saturday's stunning 1-0 away win at Arsenal, Rovers' reward is a tie against fellow npower Championship side Millwall in the last eight of the competition.

Millwall have reached this stage of the competition after wins over Preston North End, Aston Villa and Luton Town.

They were also beaten finalists in 2004, losing 3-0 to Manchester United.

The last time Rovers and Millwall met in the competition was in 2002 at the Den, Rovers winning 1-0 courtesy of Andy Cole's late header.

Ironically the two sides were due to meet at the Den that weekend in the league, that game will now be rescheduled for a later date.

The draw in full...

Oldham Athletic or Everton v Wigan Athletic
Manchester City v Barnsley
Manchester United or Reading v Middlesbrough or Chelsea
Millwall v Rovers

Ties to be played the weekend of the 9th/10th March 2013. Once the date is confirmed then ticket and travel arrangements will follow.
