Another difficult game

19 February 2013

Michael Appleton believes that this evening's npower Championship match with Hull City will provide a good yardstick as to where Rovers stand currently.

Appleton's side go into tonight's match at the KC Stadium off the back of a six-game unbeaten run, but come up against a Steve Bruce side placed 2nd in the division.

"They are at the top of the table, they're results speak for themselves," said the Rovers boss.

"They've won a lot of games 1-0 or by the odd goal so that shows how tight the division is, anyone can beat anyone on the day.

"They play a different way, similar to Brighton and Arsenal but not as fluid. They play 3-5-2, they get the wing-backs really high, they try to control and pack the midfield area.

"So it is going to be another difficult game, we're away from home, it is one that the back four and Jake are going to have to be on their toes again."

Tickets for tonight's match will be on sale at the ground, cash only from the turnstiles. Prices are £25 for Adults, £15 for Seniors and 16-22s, Juniors aged 11-15 are £6 and it is £3 for Juniors aged 10 and under.
