The introduction of new loan signing Rudy Gestede was one of the few plus points in an otherwise disappointing evening at Portman Road on Tuesday night.
That was the view of manager Gary Bowyer who gave the Benin international striker his debut in a Rovers shirt as a second half substitute against Ipswich Town.
"He came on for 15 minutes plus the 7 minutes of added time, so he got a good amount," said the boss.
"I thought he was the positive of the second half for us, he won some headers and was a physical presence up there and showed the potential that he's got.
"I'm just disappointed that we didn't get enough balls in the box for him in the second half."
