No easy game

20 December 2013

Gary Bowyer has warned his players that Saturday's match against Yeovil Town will be far from easy.

Despite their lowly position second from bottom in the Sky Bet Championship, the Glovers have been in splendid form of late with two wins and two draw from their last four outings.

They also have impressive home scalps with victories at Huish Park over Nottingham Forest and Blackpool, enough to make the Rovers boss wary.

"They've got a good manager in Gary Johnson, he's won promotion many times so he knows what that is about," said Bowyer.

"I think the recent additions to their squad has helped them improve a lot with Ishmael Miller, along with Shane Duffy and John Lundstram from Everton.

"So they've got Premiership players there and we know all too well that some clubs have gone there already this season and lost there.

"So we know it is going to be a tough game and that is what we have been saying to the players because there is no easy game in the Championship.

"On paper no game is ever easy, you have to approach it with the right mindset. That is what we have been stressing to our players, the importance of treating each game with the same respect and having a right good go at it.

"That is what we expect off the players this weekend."

Tickets for Saturday's match against Yeovil Town will be on sale until 2.30pm Friday from Ewood and from 12pm Friday in the town centre.

Tickets are priced from £20 Adults, £15 Seniors, £13 16-21s and £1 Juniors Under 16s. Tickets will be on sale on the day of the game from Huish Park with prices rising £2 except for Juniors.
