Gary Bowyer has drummed home to the players that it is actions, not words, that are required this Saturday at Queens Park Rangers.
The Rovers boss is looking for a response after Tuesday night's disappointing display against Ipswich Town, with the match against the promotion favourites giving the perfect opportunity.
"We've debriefed the game with the players on Thursday morning and now we've moved on," said Bowyer.
"We said that words are cheap, it is now all about actions. I'm sick of saying that we are close, I am sick of saying we are this or we are that. It is now all about actions.
"We made our points clear and that is the end of it, now we've just got to go and make sure that we have a response against Queens Park Rangers because we are more than capable of going there and winning it.
"We've got to learn quickly and the beauty of the Championship is it presents us with a great game for us on Saturday."
