Keep up the home form

13 December 2013

Gary Bowyer wants Rovers to make the most of their forthcoming December fixtures starting with Millwall at home this Saturday.

Three of the next four matches this month all take place at Ewood Park, and with Rovers having conceded just one goal on home soil in their last six outings, Bowyer believes they are games the supporters can look forward to.

"I think our home form has been very good bar the Charlton game," said the manager.

"We need to be picking up points at home and fortunately for us our home form has been good and we'll be looking to continue with that."

Bowyer has been delighted with the way the fans have taken to his new-look side this season, believing that the home support has played a huge part in the club's recent run of results at Ewood Park.

"I think it has been important, I think the fans have played a massive part in that," added Bowyer.

"It has been well documented over the last couple of years that Ewood Park was a good place to come for the opposition because of the atmosphere that was there.

"The fans have turned that around now and full credit to them and it is something we want to continue."

Tickets for Saturday's match will be on sale until 3.00pm kick-off with prices from £15 Adults, £10 Seniors and £5 Juniors.
