Gary Bowyer is looking for Rovers to kickstart their season with a win over Barnsley this afternoon.
Rovers are yet to taste victory this campaign, but have an excellent opportunity to do so against a Barnsley side that the Lancashire club did the double over last season.
The manager is refusing to be downbeat after collecting one point after three games, and has asked that the supporters remain patient as the new-look Rovers take shape.
"It is easy for people to jump on the bandwagon, we've said all along that it is going to take time," said the manager.
"Just because we've not won one in three straight away people are at it. We've just got to make sure that the fans understand that as long as they see the players giving 100% for the team then results will come.
"Ideally we want points on the board. There is going to be that expectation, we set that expectation on the training.
'We've got to all stick together and make sure that we are right at it on Saturday.
"We are feeling good. Obviously there was the disappointment of last Friday's result but the players have trained really hard this week and we are really looking forward to getting the points on the board this weekend against Barnsley.
"The focus on training has been the same again, working hard on getting the ball in the box and scoring some goals.
"It is going to be a tough season, that is why we need patience. Everybody will at some stage will go on an impressive run and hopefully we can kickstart our run on Saturday.
"We are in the business of winning games and that is what we are looking to do.
"The next game always provides the opportunity no matter who the opposition is. The Championship will be like that this season.
"You can win every game in the Championship as we have already seen with some surprise results already."
Tickets for this afternoon's match will be on sale right until the 3.00pm kick-off priced from £15 Adults, £10 Seniors and £5 Juniors.
