Still eager to strengthen

9 August 2013

Gary Bowyer is keen to add to his squad before the transfer window closes.

The Rovers boss has made 11 signings so far this summer, but he is still eager to strengthen the playing staff before the transfer deadline on September 2nd.

Speaking ahead of Rovers' first home match of the season Bowyer said: "I'd love to bring in a couple more if that is possible.

"I know the closure of the window is coming up on us and like every other manager I'll be delighted when it's shut.

"But we are looking to strengthen in one or two areas still.

"We are playing Nottingham Forest tomorrow and you look at how much they are rumoured to have spent.

"I think it is competitive, people are having a right good go at it this season and we need to add one or two to be up and around it as well."

Tickets for Saturday's match against Nottingham Forest will be on sale up until the 3.00pm kick-off. With prices starting from £19 Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Juniors.

Unable to make the match at Ewood Park? Rovers Player will be providing full match commentary of the game.
